Sick Little Boys

We took the boys up to my parent's house last night to go sledding and enjoy the heavy snow while it was still around. Malachi took a nap and Logan played inside, so Zach was the only one to go sledding with Shawn and my brothers. We left mom's at about 7pm last night and between the house and warm van, the cold air really got to Malachi. He started having an awful asthma attack where he couldn't hardly breathe at all. It was awful and we were so far from home to get him a breathing treatment. He was convulsing so bad as he coughed, like he was going to cough his whole lung out. We got home, gave him a breathing treatment and he got better for a little bit, but around 11pm it got worse again and we were a little worried about what to do then. Needless to say, it was a short night last night with not much restful sleep. His poor little belly has got to hurt today! He did go to the dr today and basically asthma is kicking his behind right now, so we just have to try to keep up on the breathing treatments every 4 hours. Good thing he likes them now!
Logan woke up with red, swollen eyes and spots all over his face. He has the same "chicken pox" looking face that Malachi had last week. The dr said it is a sinus infection and prescribed meds to clear it up. They helped Malachi last week, so here's hoping!
And. . . .Zachary started complaining of a headached tonight and his ears are bright red. Sure enough. . . when I checked his temp, it was 100! Nice. . . . on my full 5-day work week, to have 3 sick kiddos. Thank God for my brother that's been helping out a bit in between finals!
