Shhhhhewwww. . . .

Wow! What a weekend! Three days packed so full of events and activities!!! First of all- Malachi's first ever 4th of July- not quite his thing yet. Poor baby, he couldn't quite handle the loud sounds and started crying each time. Needless to say, we didn't stick around long after they started going off. Maybe next year he'll be able to handle them. It was interesting to see him cry though. I've never seen him really get ticked off like that.

I think he might be teething or growing as last night was absolutely exhausting- up every 3 hours! What's up with that!? I know he's less than 4 months old, but when he's got us used to our nice 8-10 hours of sleep every night and then he pulls an night like last night, ugh! And we had a family event today after church, so no nap for me and I'm ready for bed early tonight. Time is just dragging on so slowly!

I forgot to mention that Saturday morning Shawn got to go golfing with his brothers & dad while I stayed home with the boys. Of course, it was raining, so we painted some bird houses. After Zachary was done with his, he decided it looked more like a monster and that maybe a mean bird would live there to scare all the other birds away. hmmmm . . . so much like him right now- mean! Logan's bird house was a little more colorful & creative.
Looking forward to this week, we have birthday invites to get done- yet another Thomas themed birthday party. We also have shots for 2 boys on Thursday- Zachary's kindergarten shots & Malachi's 4 month ones. Hopefully we'll manage to also schedule pictures for both boys. Poor Logan- looks like a bit of an uneventful week for him. I'm sure he'll find something to make it worthwhile! Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend.
