Ok, pardon the pun on words, but yesterday was Zachary's birthday party and there's nothing quite like the threat of hail to clear out the place. I'll try to post more later, but we had supper over with and the threat of severe weather was on it's way, so we hurried cake & ice cream along and most everyone scattered to make it home so their vehicles would be in the safety of their garages. Nothing really happened, just some close lightning & a few times the power went out. However, after most people left, the gifts were still sitting, unopened, on our cedar chest. We told Zachary that since the party was over, we wouldn't be able to open the presents, so they'd have to wait until next year's party.
He got a panicked look on his face & said, "Oh, no! We don't have to wait. There's still a few people here. I can open presents." So, we did open presents and he had a blast. More pictures to follow this week as well as an update on the giant pumpkin.
