One cute little toddler tidbit that happened this weekend was that Logan (who is freshly potty-trained in the past month) had to go potty once we had gotten on our walk into the park/petting zoo. Not wanting to go immediately to the front gates where the restrooms were located, Shawn told him to "hold it". Now, knowing and being around toddlers so much, I could have guessed what would happen next, so I kept my distance and viewed in my perferial vision- Logan wiggles his little tushy and starts to pull his pants down. (And, no we haven't mastered teaching him out to pee standing up, so I knew this is not what he would be doing.) Then, standing right next to Shawn's leg and with his shorts & underwear around his ankles, he grabbed onto "it" and waited for Shawn to take him to the bathroom. Thankfully, there was not a crowd around, so, I waited until Shawn realized what had happened and how his son took the literal interpretation of "hold it". Now, we nicely ask him if he can be patient or wait.

Anyway, more on the trip later this week. I'm off to get laundry, dishes, trash, etc. going this morning.
