Malachi and his Disgusting Interests

Malachi saved my life yesterday. He kept me from having a heart attack when I was working in the garage. See, we have a piece of old carpet on the floor. Its nothing special but still works good to have in the garage. Well, he noticed something "dangerous." I didn't really trust his sight-seeing skills but upon closer inspection, I did freak out a little bit.

There was a GIGANTIC spider!!!!!!

Can you see it??? Tell me how incredibly hard that is to see since it blends into the shaggy carpet!? YUCK!!!!!

The nice mom I am, I collected it for him.

We had it to inspect and stare at until Daddy got home. He let it go in the grass, after a tiny melt-down by Malachi. Finally Malachi understood that he might see his "friend" again someday. :( I certainly hope I don't see him again!!!!
