We've been MIA (Missing in Action) for a few days while being in a black hole, I mean, the middle of about nowhere, aka Western KS. We left Thursday and just got back today. While there, we spent much time celebrating the wonderful life of Shawn's grandad, conversing with family, friends, and catching up on things, while our kids played, completely obvilious to the reason we were there. It was a bit stressful of a time and on our way back today, we stopped in Hays to meet up with my friend and meet some of her kids that we hadn't met since the last time we'd seen each other (her twins are now 4 years old). The boys napped after that on the way home, so Shawn and I had some quality time catching up on conversation and getting some of our homework done for tonights class.
I have a kagillion of pictures from this past weekend, but right now my mind is too numb and in unpacking mode to even get them off my camera, so I'm off to get supper ready and head on my way to class tonight. Here are a few of my messy eater:
